Chocolate History
One of the fun parts of this book is the discussion of the history and evolution of chocolate. if you want to read more on this subject, the classic is The True History of Chocolate by Sophie and Michael Coe. Some of the history is tied in with the Spanish colonial period and Europe's sickening exploitation of the Aztec and Mayan cultures. But what a story! Who knew, for example, that chocolate wasn't even routinely sweetened until the 18th century.

Great American Smoothies
Gabriel Constans did another collection of smoothies, called Great American Smoothies. This guys a master of the smoothie art! He has great recipes in both the books, though I myself tend to be partial to the chocolate ones here.
